Hi, I am so glad you are here. You just being here tells me you’re curious, thoughtful, creative...and always, always looking to grow. YOU are the type of person that inspires me.
Are you perfect, exceptionally talented, or have it together every single day? No.
Thank goodness. That’s one of my favorite parts about you.
You see, we all have our days.
You know those days. You look around and it appears everyone is doing something. Starting their own business, traveling the world, reinventing themselves, having fun. You can’t help but occasionally wonder...
“Am I doing my life right?”
I am Alice Chera and I have been there too.
I know what it’s like to doubt yourself from time to time. I’ve swatted away those creative nudges, too. I know what it’s like to feel enslaved by a neverending to-do list and guilty for wanting more me-time. I too have looked around and wondered how other people seemed to make life look so easy. For years I woke up wondering what my purpose was and if there was more.
You see, growing up I never felt talented, smart or that I even belonged. My sense of self was buried under layers of “not enough-ness.” Though if you looked at me you would never know I felt this way. But for so many years I felt like something was wrong.
I followed the path that was laid out for me by others. I married young, had children and devoted myself to raising my family. Without a doubt, this has been one of my greatest gifts. However, there was this nagging sense there was still something missing. I wondered who I was apart from my role in my family and community. I decided to take action. I made a commitment to work on myself and slowly but surely things began to change. When I began unpacking the spiritual, mental and emotional barriers that were blocking me, I began to grow.
This lead me to coaching, and through coaching I found ME. I began to surprise myself. After years of talk therapy, I finally got moving. I pushed through my fears and began to take concrete steps towards the things I had always said I had wanted. I did it all in a way that was FUN! As someone who was more comfortable hiding in the back of a room, I built a business, taught classes and stretched myself into new areas of interest. My path easily opened up to meet me. My self-esteem grew and I began to live with more purpose.
I’m here to tell you from my own personal experience, there is so much more of you waiting to come forward and claim it. It’s easier than you think!
Let’s create the space together for a life that can be both deliciously exciting and empowering at the same time. Let’s cultivate the best version of your life.
